    Default Cognito Lifts?

I am looking at getting a Cognito leveling kit and plan in the future to get about 3-5 inches of lift. I have been told that the leveling kit is completely compatible with the lift kit. My question is if anyone has had/used one and if there is anything better for the money. I have heard great things about them but just wanted to see what you guys thought.

I cannot speak to the quality of one over another, I have never lifted on of my trucks. But I will see if I can get some help for you on that.

I can't speak for any other lifts, but I'm real happy with my Pro Comp.

Like big Daddy, I've never lifted any of my trucks although I have always wanted to. But when ya got a wife that "needed??" a longggggggggggggg travel trailer, the odds of me lifting mah truck just went down.

the leveling kit usually goes on top of the springs, tho normally a lift kit will raise the front up 2 more then the rear so the leveling kit would make the front 4" higher then the rear...

Nick defenitly knows his stuff when it comes to lifting an ifs truck, a leveling kit is basically a 2in lift, depending on how you want to do it, you can crank the t-bars and get the front end to level out, i did my 08 then installed a 2in block in the back, cracking t-bars does affect ride quality, but a good set of shocks will make it ride better. but you can go with the cognito control arms and such like that, they are capable with the lift kit, but it would cheaper to either go with the lift right away or just do the level kit and keep it leveled, choice is really up to you
08 LMM just a few minor add ons here and there nothing special

The only thing I have ever done on mine is crank the T-bars. I would not advise running them all the way up as it can wear them out prematurely. Given the choice, I would probably chose the leveling kit over just cranking them.
