Consider AMSOIL for your Polaris Sportsman

Thinking of converting your Sportsman over to AMSOIL fluids? Below is what Polaris products convert to AMSOIL.

For an 800 Sportsman you will need:

PS-4 Plus Performance Synthetic 2W-50 4-cycle oil (2 qts) Is not an exact match but converts to AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke PowerSports 0W-40 OR 20W-50 motorcycle oil. The 0W has a lower cold pour point

WIX 51356 converts to an AMSOIL EA15K13 Oil Filter

Active Descent Control Fluid converts to AMSOIL Synthetic Universal ATF

Premium ATV Angel Drive Fluid converts to AMSOIL Severe Gear 75W-90

Demand Drive LT Premium Fluid (front gear case 275ml) converts to AMSOIL Shock Therapy Light

Polaris Premium AGL Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant (transmission)(948ml) converts to AMSOIL series 2000 Chaincase Oil

Premium All Season Grease (for a grease gun) converts to AMSOIL Synthetic Heavy Duty Grease

Polaris Premium U-Joint Lube PN 2871515 converts to AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease

Polaris Premium U-Joint Lube PN 2871551 converts AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease

Dot-4 Brake fluid converts to AMSOIL Series 600 DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid

WIX 51356 converts to an AMSOIL EAO11 Oil Filter

You need to double check the EAO11. According to what I am looking at its EA15K13. The EAO11 is a big filter that fits Fords.

Mike, thanks for the catch. I have updated the thread. Also my apologies for the delayed response. Your thread was blocked until moderated and we hadn't noticed it until recently.

I think when they came out with the 15k oil filters they must have changed the filter or something. I appreciate your help....
